Mobility Screens
Host Free Mobility Screens at Your Office, Venue, or Campus
The NYSDOT Mobility Screens are free, web-based, transit information displays that feature information such as:- Real-time transit tracking,
- Route-to-destination wayfinding,
- Traffic condistions,
- Bikeshare availablity, and more.
To get started, connect with the NYSDOT program team by emailing OperationsSupport@511mobility.org. The team will provide design input, implementation support, and help with techincal troubleshooting.
What Do You Get with a Mobility Screen?
The NYSDOT Mobility Screen Builder employs real-time transit, micromobility, and traffic data to let users display an array of different transportation information, including:- Transit arrival times at selected stops.
- Route-to-designation tables and maps.
- Local traffic corridor drive time estimates.
- Bikeshare availability and dock locations.
- Weather, graphics, and customizable QR codes.
Technical Specifications
In order to host a Mobility Screen, the following is required:- Computer: You may use a laptop, desktop computer, minicomputer, iPad, or tablet device to host the Mobility Screen.
- Screen: A wide-screen display is recommended, but any standard display with a resolution of 1024x768 or higher is best.
- Internet: Wi-Fi connection is recommended over dial-up access to maintain a stable internet connection. 10 Mbps+ internet speed will prdouce the best results.
