Carpool Club

What is Carpool Club

New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is testing a new approach to carpooling to provide commuters with more flexible and community-based options. You can still register for carpool matches in the 511NY Rideshare system, but the Carpool Club is intended to enable commuters to meet up with others to share the ride with little to no advance planning.  (placeholder to mention the app ETCH is developing) Just go to one of the Carpool Club Meet-up locations, join others, and start carpooling!  Track your Carpool Club trips in our Trip Tracker and be eligible for great discounts from area businesses and retailers.
