HERE Data

 

This data feed provides minute-by-minute traffic speed information for over 20,000 NY road segments. Historical speed data is also available. HERE populates its dataset from billions of GPS probe points, road sensors, and connected vehicles. Special features of the dataset include the ability to specify reversible express lane conditions and provide insights for off-Transportation Management Center (TMC) roads.

Data Access: Private

Access to the HERE data can be granted via an API. Each organization that requests access will receive a URL with an API key specific to that particular organization.

Currently, the API is set up to provide the current real-time dataset and there are plans to create a historical API.
