Carpooling is as easy as it sounds — share a ride with other travelers or commuters who have similar start and end locations. You can participate in carpools as a driver only, passenger only or in alternating roles. Not only does carpooling save money, but during a transportation or weather related emergency it may be the only way to get to work.

With our Ridematch system, joining a carpool is quick and easy. Plus you qualify for FredRide's Guaranteed Ride Program.

And if you ever have questions or need assistance, call 511 and say, "Rideshare" to connect with 511NY Rideshare Customer Service staff (6am to 7pm M-F). If you are calling from out-of-state call 888-GO511NY (888-465-1169), select a New York City Metro and then say "Rideshare."
