Carpooling is as easy as it sounds – it's sharing a ride with other travelers or commuters who have similar start and end locations. You can participate in carpools as a driver only, passenger only, or in alternating roles. The bus is an easy and inexpensive way to get around! Ride to your destination while you chat, read a book or magazine, answer emails, or just relax. Visit Broome County's Public Transit page for information on routes and schedules, fares, rural transit, and more! Currently, Tioga County does not have its own public transit system, but you can use this website to find alternative methods to travel around the region.

Binghamton University students can also take advantage of Off Campus College Transport, which provides transportation around the Binghamton area at no cost to students.
