Project Overview

"This project addresses the need to develop and maintain a consistent asset inventory and management strategy for ITS equipment and systems owned by NYSDOT. It will standardize and support asset management statewide, with the following objectives: involve the eleven Regional ITS Asset Managers and the Main Office in creating a tool that meets user needs and downstream application requirements; and, develop a tool in which the users can conveniently access, configure, and manage, and can be extended to support future ITS assets such as smart work zone and other devices. At the completion of the assignment an operational version of the ITS-AMT platform/tool set will be available to all Regions to maintain and update their TSMO asset inventory as a strategy to support the management of TSMO assets."
